I am an economic sociologist, and my research spans entrepreneurship, labor markets, and inequality. One stream focuses on how startups acquire talent and why some face greater constraints in doing so. Another examines how organizational processes and practices affect the career trajectories of workers, especially for those from marginalized backgrounds.
Starting fourth year of my PhD, I am currently advised by Professors Ezra Zuckerman Sivan, Emilio Castilla, and Fiona Murray.
