Ballroom and Latin Dance

Beyond research, I train and compete with the MIT Ballroom Dance Team.

I currently compete in the Silver Standard and Latin categories. My competition record and rankings can be accessed here.

I find dancing very similar to research. Progress is visible in small changes in movement, timing, and connection with your partner, and requires sustained practice and a willingness to remain a beginner, even as one improves. I value that process as much as competition itself.
